Matching Gift Program

Does doubling, tripling or even quadrupling the impact of your donation to ARCH - at no cost to you - sound appealing? ARCH’s matching gift program is a great way to do just that! If your employer participates in a matching gift program, your company will match the contributions that you donate to a charitable organization.

Here’s how it works:

WHAT:
If you work for one of the companies that participate in the Matching Gift Program, your employer may match your contribution (gift) dollar for dollar or more.

"Employee matching gifts" are contributions from a corporate employer that match contributions to a charitable organization by a corporate employee. Sometimes called "matching funds" and defined as grants that are made to match funds provided by another donor, some funders require the match in order for them to give.

How can you find out:
Please contact your human resources or personnel office for more information. ARCH will assist you with any documentation or follow-up information your HR Department and Organization may need.

1. Once you have made a donation to ARCH, either through a one time gift, monthly automatic payroll deduction, or sponsorship payment, contact your Human Resources Department & inquire if they have a Matching Gift Program. If they do, they should have a simple form for you to fill out, which will get the ball rolling.

2. Mail your completed form to:

3. Once received, ARCH will alert your company of your generosity, triggering their matching gift, which is then sent directly to ARCH.

Ways Your Employer May Match Your Gift or Time:

Companies frequently match their employees' monetary contributions to ARCH.
Companies may also contribute financially to match employees' volunteer efforts.
Many foundations have matching gift programs for their officers and directors
